Hello everyone, first off, we are pleased to release our official website. Things are still being polished up, but most features are functioning and will be properly synced as we get closer to launch.

Welcome to Zonica’s first official Gazette issue. Gazette issues will be released weekly, most likely on Sundays, to prepare everyone for what is going on that week here at Zonica. You’ll find information on game/client updates, staff changes, events, weekly community recaps, and more in these posts, so be sure to read them thoroughly so you do not miss any giveaways we may hide inside them!

This past week has been a busy one for Zonica, we have started to amp up our testing which has led to a few bugs popping up, but this is to be expected with a Beta. We will continue to patch these various little bugs as you guys report them as well as continue to balance combat, so keep up the excellent work. Remember that the Bug for Bond event is still ongoing until November 12th, so take advantage of this. Content: we are currently working on a few things and have a hoist of good stuff planned for the next couple of weeks, which I will get into below…

New widgets/content to look forward to coming to Zonica and the features they offer…

• Lottery – The new Lottery system is in game now, you can access and test this feature by talking to the rewards trader outside the Edge bank
• Bingo – Bingo will be available for testing this up coming week, you’ll be able to get bingo cards from the chief servant outside the Edge bank
• Looting Bag – Has been implemented and is available for testing.
• Voting – Voting will offer players access to various rewards as well as the ability to go on streaks for bonus rewards
• Presets – We are aware these are in-need of a major overhaul which is on our top priority we hope to have this out for testing in the next 14 days
• Town Board – see below…
• Collection Log – This will work like you’d expect it to
• WOGW – The WOGW will receive an overhaul, allowing the community to purchase a Varity of boost with their Blood Money

Town Board

First off a big thank you to Lepia for bringing the initial idea to us…

• So, what will the town board be? The Town Boards will be a custom system that will allow players to take on tasks in various cities around Zonica. Completing these tasks will earn you experience in the respected city, unlocking various cosmetics, perks, and other rewards as you progress!
• Tasks will vary around the cities and increase in difficulty as you level through the system.
• We hope to begin showing off more of this content in our next couple of gazette issues.

The beta server is live and currently we have one event going on but look out for some giveaways to begin in the near future for an opportunity to earn OSRS GP and or Zonica Bonds.

Zonica’s Bug for Bond Event

How does the event work?

1. Players will reach out to any Staff team member and just ask to gain access to the Beta Client.
2. Record any bug you encounter while plaything through the beta in the #⁠bug-reports channel in our discord in order to gain credit/validation for report reports.
3. Enjoy, learn and preach Zonica!

Event Details

The Event will start officially tonight and run until November 12th giving players a chance to help mold Zonica, improve its quality and earn some in game benefits before launch. We are adding in new features regularly and could always use more eyes on things to ensure quality, big thanks to anyone who participates in advance.

Event Rules and Important Information

• Each bug is worth $1 Zonica Bond
• No duplicate bug reports will be awarded a bond (Staff will go through to make sure there has not been a bug report claim already)
• If a bug is determined game breaking by our staff the user may receive a bonus for said report.
• All bonds will be distributed 3 days after launch ensuring a fair and equal launch day for everyone.
