Hello, ladies and gentleman we are so pleased to announce we are right on schedule for launch TODAY at 6pm GMT | 1pm EST. First and foremost please make sure to send your gratitude and appreciation to Ynneh for working tirelessly these last few months especially leading into launch. Day in and day out logging 10-15+ hour days working on various things to really give Zonica the care she needs, must not be underappreciated. Development wise Zonica is a one man show so I ask for patience throughout our journey, while we work to bring you guys an exceptional gaming experience. There is not much Ynneh is unable to do, so be mindful of putting detailed suggestions of what you would like to see here often!

With that being said you can expect quick fixes and weekly updates regularly here on Zonica. Currently we are looking at Tuesday of every week being our official patch day, you’ll see fixes and minor changes as needed but main updates will usually drop on patch day. I am hoping to release some more polls following launch so make sure to look out for those! There will be a discord announcement one hour before launch, look forward to seeing you all in game!

Competitions

Invite Competition

We will be sponsoring another invite competition as a sign of thanks for sticking by us as well as a small token for having to wait an additional week to play the game. Look out for a discord notification in events later tonight for when the comp officially starts around 8pm as well as reward information!

Launch Competitions 

We will also be having a hoist of launch competitions and some awesome rewards for those looking to participate!

This week we did some major internal house cleaning on Zonica as well as some nice new nifty features for you guys…

Placeholders

• Placeholders were a major request throughout beta so we made sure to implement them before launch for you guys.
  • Placeholders work exactly as you would think offering you a way to keep your bank organized.

WogW

• The Well of good will has been completely rewritten and revamped to offer a much more rewarding contribution system.
  • Players can now donate Blood Money for various Global Bonuses
    • 20% XP Boost (1 Hour)
    • 25% Chance of 2x Drops (1 Hour)
    • 25+% Blood Money from Caskets (1 Hour)
    • 15% More points in NMZ (1 Hour)

Rune pouch

• Much like placeholders Rune Pouch was a highly requested feature so we made sure to get that in as well.
  • Rune Pouch works nearly identical to its OSRS counterpart

• Bones on Chaos alter now work properly including Frost

• Regular modes drop rate has been adjusted to 3%

Our staff team is quite small we realize this and will be keeping a close eye on potential Support candidates over the next few days. You may even see the applications ticket open in the discord.
